About Ian

Amoskeagnorthern.com is a consolidation of my modeling, photography, and technology efforts all in one site. The site will showcase the best that I have to offer, and strive to show that N scale can surprise you in many areas. Please check back regularly as the website will be frequently updated with articles, and where you can view the Simonds Industrial Track show layout. I reside in the White Mountains / Lakes Region of New Hampshire, and have been a life long resident of the state. I have been interested in railroads for aslong as I can remember, and have worked part time for NH shortline New England Southern since 2006. I currently work in Law Enforcement, a dedication I have served in since 2001. I have been a regular contributor and moderator at The Railwire for several years, and I recommend that you stop by. The Railwire, while heavy into East Coast model railroading, is a giant think tank of like minded highly skilled modelers in all scales and roads. I am also a contributor at Model:160, a webzine dedicated to N scale railroading with my very in depth series of articles on building the Simonds Industrial Track and eventually my new home Boston Line Layout. Feel free to browse around, and if you have any suggestions, or corrections, please feel free to contact me. - Thanks, Ian
